Part-2 : Daily Gosho Guidance

"At the seaside, wood is regarded as a treasure, and in the mountains, salt. In a drought, water is thought to be a treasure, and in the darkness, a lamp." NICHIREN DAISHONIN (Gosho "Offerings in the Snow")

"What people value as their treasure depends on the place and circumstances in which they live. About what is the most important treasure of the present time? "Throughout the world today, people are feeling a loss of humanity and a sense of purpose in life. These times have also been described as being mired in "intellectual and philosophical turmoil".

Because of this, humanity, hope and vitality, "are the treasures of our age" (Wow!). And the philosophy of Buddhism, which people can trust and rely on to manifest these treasures, is the most important, fundamental treasure of all."

"These treasures exist within the Soka Gakkai". To find the source of these treasures, one must seek Nichiren Buddhism, which illuminates the ultimate Law of life and the philosophy of human dignity.

We of life Soka Gakkai are practicing that Buddhism and showing actual proof of it's truth in our daily lives.

The Daishonin says, "All the various teachings of the Buddha are spread by persons. Hence if the Law that one embraces is supreme, then the person who embraces it must accordingly be foremost among all others." (Gosho "Questions and Answers about Embracing the Lotus Sutra").

The Great Law of Buddhism is "revealed and spread by people". No matter how great the Law is, without people, it cannot spread. And if the Law is supreme, then those who spread it surpass all others. In other words, 'all of you', who are dedicating their lives to kosen rufu "are the greatest treasures of our world today" (Wow!)." DAISAKU IKEDA (NHR 18). Superb! Have a precious weekend !!!
